Bill Fraser

Principal Architect, Devops at Pythian

Bill Fraser started their work experience as an IT Support Analyst at Convergys in 2002, where they provided technical support to residential and commercial cable internet customers. Bill then worked as a Technical Support Representative at Sitel from 2004 to 2006, acting as a mentor for the HP Proliant Server Support team. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Customer Support Engineer at Nuvo Network Management, managing over 3000 servers for a global television, news, and entertainment company.

In 2008, Bill Fraser joined Pythian as a Site Reliability Consultant and later became a Lead Site Reliability Consultant in 2012. From 2013 to 2019, they served as a Principal Consultant and eventually became a Principal Architect, DevOps in 2019. In these roles, they collaborated with clients, managed projects, estimated technical effort, and implemented cloud-native architectures, continuous integration and delivery solutions, and operational optimizations.

Bill Fraser obtained a diploma in Systems Analyst from Sheridan College from 1999 to 2001. Bill also holds additional certifications including Google Cloud Platform Qualified Developer from Google, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, and Puppet Professional 2014 Certification from Puppet Labs.
