Greg Parry

Director Of CMC Project Management at Pyxis Oncology

Greg Parry, PhD, PMP has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Greg currently serves as the Director of CMC Project Management at Pyxis Oncology, where they started in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bayer HealthCare from October 2020 to November 2022, holding the position of Director of Formulation & Device Management.

From April 2016 to October 2020, Greg served as the Senior Director of Process Development & Engineering at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. in which they managed the process engineering group and played a critical role in developing aseptic manufacturing processes for drug-device combination products. Greg also wrote and reviewed CMC sections for NDA submission and resubmission.

Greg has also gained experience in project management consulting at JGB BioPharma Consulting Inc. from February 2016 to April 2016.

Previously, they held the position of Executive Director of Portfolio and Project Management at Lipocine Inc. from September 2014 to December 2015. During their time there, they reviewed and wrote NDA sections for Tlando, an oral testosterone product, and established and managed a Quality Assurance unit.

From March 2003 to September 2014, Greg worked at Watson/Actavis as an Associate Director of Project Management. Here, they managed multi-functional project teams and successfully developed and obtained NDA approval for Rapaflo.

Greg began their career at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals in January 1990 and served as a Process Engineer and Technical Brand Manager until July 1999. In this role, they led pharmaceutical development projects, focusing on transdermal and oral formulations, and gained expertise in design of experiments.

Before joining Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, Greg worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Delsys from August 1999 to July 2001. Their responsibilities included leading the development of controlled-release and pulsatile-release oral dosage formulations.

Prior to that, they served as a Senior Project Manager at DSM from 2001 to 2003. In this role, they created and maintained product development plans for external client CMC projects and managed bid proposal processes for new clients.

Throughout their career, Greg Parry has demonstrated a strong background in project management, process development, formulation, and quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.

Greg Parry, PhD, PMP completed their education at the University of Utah from 1980 to 1990, earning a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
