Maira Soto

Maira Soto is a highly experienced scientist specializing in translational medicine, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Pyxis Oncology since September 2023. Previously, Maira held roles as a Scientific Consultant and Senior Scientist at Apexigen from June 2023 to September 2023, and from April 2021 to February 2023, respectively. Maira's earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Scientist at Kodiak Sciences, and as an Assistant Scientific Investigator and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Arizona. Maira also worked as a Process Development Associate at Perseid Therapeutics from February 2010 to July 2011. Maira holds a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics and a Master's in Drug Development from the University of Southern California, along with a Master's in Molecular Biology from UC Irvine and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles.
