MacIej Wierzbowski

Maciej Wierzbowski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in football officiating and education. Currently serving as a Project Specialist at Talent m&c since November 2021, Wierzbowski has held the position of Vice President of Competition at Pomorski Związek Piłki Nożnej since September 2016 and has been the RefCo & Refereeing Development Manager at the Polish Football Association since August 2014. With a rich background as an international assistant referee for both FIFA and UEFA from 1998 to 2014, Wierzbowski has participated in prestigious tournaments, including the World Cup and UEFA competitions. Additionally, Wierzbowski has contributed to the academic field as a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology, where a PhD was earned in Mechanical Engineering. Wierzbowski's expertise also includes coaching roles with the Cyprus Football Association and the Stowarzyszenie Sędziów Pomorskiego Związku Piłki Nożnej.
