Fabricio Simão has a diverse work experience spanning various research and educational institutions. Fabricio is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Q-State Biosciences since September 2022. Prior to this, they held research positions at Joslin Diabetes Center, where they served as a Research Associate from July 2017 to September 2022. Fabricio also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from August 2014 to June 2017. Simão has also had a role as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School since July 2017.
Simão's academic journey includes being a Postdoctoral Fellow at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from February 2011 to July 2014. Fabricio completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from June 2006 to January 2011. Additionally, they were a Visiting Graduate Student at Harvard University from September 2009 to December 2010. Fabricio began their academic career by obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from March 2004 to February 2006.
Fabricio Simão completed their undergraduate studies in Pharmacy at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from 1999 to 2003.
