Ravi Vats, PhD

Ravi Vats, PhD has eight years of work experience. In 2014, they were an Academic Tutor at Wisdom Learning Center and a Research Assistant at Conway Institute, University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland. In 2015, they were an Imaging Specialist at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and an Internship at University College Dublin. In 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Associate at University of Pittsburgh. In 2022, they were a Scientist 1 at Q32 Bio Inc. and Forma Therapeutics. At Q32 Bio Inc., they were working on preclinical in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies to support projects across expanding drug pipeline and helping build in-house IHC/image analysis capacities to support cross-functional programs. At Forma Therapeutics, they were independently designing, executing, and interpreting biomarker studies to investigate and prioritize biomarkers to meet the timelines of projects, including both internal research and work with CROs. Ravi was also driving assay validation and technology transfer to support biomarker evaluation in clinical trials and assisting in the management of external biomarker studies and in vivo pharmacology studies by providing tactical solutions to scientific challenges and communicating with external providers and internal stakeholders.

Ravi Vats received their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Biotechnology from Maharshi Dayanand University in 2011. Ravi then went on to pursue a Master degree in Imaging and Microscopy from University College Dublin in 2012-2013. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021.
