Stefan Wawersik

Stefan Wawersik has been in the field of research for over 20 years, starting with a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 2000. Stefan then worked at Sanofi Genzyme from 2004 to 2015, holding positions such as Senior Scientist, Staff Scientist II, and Staff Scientist. In 2015, they moved to Scholar Rock, where they held the roles of Director, Preclinical Sciences - Bioanalytical & Translational Technologies, Associate Director, Discovery Biology & Bioanalytics, and Senior Scientist. Most recently, they have been with Q32 Bio Inc. since 2020, serving as Vice President of Research and Senior Director, Head of Preclinical Research.

Stefan Wawersik attended Rice University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a BA in Biochemistry. Stefan then attended Harvard University from 1993 to 2000, where they earned a PhD in Genetics.
