Account Management Lead at Q4Launch

Ben Ollic has had a varied career in the marketing and public relations fields. Ben began their career in 2014 as a Public Relations Assistant at Santee Cooper. During the summers of 2014 and 2015, they assisted with developing public relations strategies to positively impact Santee Cooper’s brand equity within the community while supporting resource conservation efforts. Ben also wrote articles for the internal newsletter and PowerSource, the quarterly, public magazine.

In 2015, they took on the role of Marketing Coordinator at Orvin's Insurance Agency.

In 2016, they joined Q4Launch as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist. In this role, they spearheaded the development of the marketing department by creating an organizational structure, providing leadership opportunities, and encouraging current team members to initiate career develop conversations. Ben also led the marketing initiatives for individual customers and was responsible for creating, executing, and pivoting the marketing strategy plan by using data and research to make decisions to unlock creative optimization across different business verticals. Ben educated customers and internal team on new marketing tools and channels and had the ability to influentially communicate the why behind associated strategies, both in monthly and quarterly conversations.

Ben then moved into the role of Digital Marketing Specialist where they directed 20+ marketing strategies to achieve specified goals established through usage of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and other marketing-focused tools. Ben monitored property management systems’ booking pace and analytical tools twice per month to shift strategy and maximize occupancy. Ben also managed project deadlines and monitored milestones through completion stage.

Finally, they took on the role of Content Specialist where they increased website and social media traffic by 30% by creating dynamic copy and engaging lead generation strategies. Ben also implemented SEO strategies to increase the search presence for 15 clients per week and collaborated with the Content Marketing Team to create landing pages and blogs, ensuring consistency with brand marketing and message strategies.

Ben Ollic has a diverse educational background. Ben obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from Wofford College in 2016, and in 2014 they studied European Society and Culture in Vienna, Austria at the Institute for the International Education of Students. Additionally, Ben Ollic has obtained various certifications, including a Marketing Suite Certification from NAVIS in 2020, an Email Marketing Certification and an Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in 2018, a Our Community Listens certification in 2017, a Google Ads certification from Google in 2018, and a Google Analytics certification from Google in 2017.
