Maite Ibarretxe

Maite Ibarretxe currently serves as the Senior Executive of Sustainability Strategy & Innovation at Q8, leading the "Propelling Prosperity" Sustainability strategy and acting as Head of the Sustainability Lab. Additionally, Ibarretxe is an Associate Professor at UIBS, teaching various MBA and graduate courses related to sustainable businesses and innovation. As a visiting professor, Ibarretxe contributes to programs at the International University of Monaco and ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara. Ibarretxe has held significant roles in consultancy and educational organizations, including being a Partner & Director at Orchestrating Innovation and Chief Operating Officer at Climate-KIC. Previous industry experience includes leading global operations and innovation at C&A Foundation and serving as a Non Executive Director for both IWA Kenya and AquaRating. Educational credentials encompass a PhD in Business Law from the University of Deusto and various diplomas from prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
