Martijn Hazebroek

Martijn Hazebroek has a strong background in strategy and business development, with extensive experience in the energy and petroleum industry. Martijn is currently the Strategy and Business Development Director for Global Cards at Q8, a position they have held since May 2020.

Prior to joining Q8, Hazebroek worked at IDS Europe B.V. from April 2014 to May 2020 as the Strategy and Markets Manager. Before that, they served as the Strategic Project Manager at Kuwait Petroleum North West Europe from October 2012 to April 2014.

Hazebroek also held various roles at Kuwait Petroleum Northwest Europe from 2001 to 2012, including General Manager of Tango/Q8 easy from June 2004 to March 2008, Network Development Coordinator from June 2001 to June 2004, Retail Operations Manager Nederland from March 2008 to October 2012, and Retail Cards Manager Benelux from May 2010 to March 2012.

Martijn Hazebroek completed an Executive Programme in Strategic Management - Certified Strategy Manager from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2011. In 2010, they also pursued a course in Strategic Account Management from the same institution. Prior to that, they earned a MSc degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam between 1990 and 1999.
