Dom Tramontana

Dom Tramontana has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Dom began their career at Advanced Communications, Inc. in 1998 as an Installation Technician, providing technical support and configuring computers for TCP/IP networks. Dom then moved up within the company and served as a PC/Network Technician, Information Technology Manager, and eventually became the Director of Information Technology. In their role as Director, they oversaw all aspects of IT for a telecommunications contractor and designed and implemented technology solutions for networking, ERP, and disaster recovery.

In 2006, Dom joined CEBOS, a division of QAD, as a Software Application Developer. Dom played a key role in architecting and developing their MQ1 product. Over the years, they progressed to roles such as Software Development Manager, Software Development and Customer Support Manager, Director of Technical Operations, and Director of R&D. In these roles, they managed development teams, program managed product releases, and contributed to the division's strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.

Currently, Dom works at QAD as a VP of Engineering. Dom has held multiple VP roles, including VP of Engineering for ERP Production Solutions and VP of Engineering for Digital Manufacturing. In these positions, they are responsible for overseeing engineering efforts, long-term strategic planning, software development, and go-to-market strategies.

Dom Tramontana attended the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Information Systems. In 1996, they briefly attended Henry Ford College to study English. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1994, Dom attended Lee M. Thurston, but their field of study is unknown. Dom also holds several additional certifications, including Crafting Strategic Visual Stories from The Presentation Company in 2021, Pragmatic Management Certified - (PMC-II) from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in 2020, A+ and Network+ from CompTIA in 2000, and MCSE from Microsoft in 2000.
