Luke Edwards

Luke Edwards is the Head of Engineering Technical Services at Qantas, overseeing a diverse team of 180 individuals since March 2010. In this role, Luke manages the CASA Part 42 Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation and the CASA Part 21J Approved Design Organisation, among other design approvals. Previously, Luke served as the Head of Design, responsible for the design assurance system under both local and international regulations. Earlier experience includes serving as Engineering Manager for the Aircraft Design & Projects office, Chief Engineer for Qantas Defence Services, and roles at Qantas Airways, Boeing, and Hawker de Havilland. Luke holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Master's degree in Business and Technology from UNSW.
