Mark Lipman

Mark Lipman is an experienced professional in enterprise risk, safety governance, and environmental management with a career spanning over three decades. Currently, Mark serves as the Head of Enterprise Risk and Head of Safety Strategy, Governance & Risk at Qantas, a role held since January 2021. Prior to this, Mark held various leadership positions at Jetstar Airways, including Manager Safety Systems and Governance and Head of Safety (Acting). Additional experience includes roles at Telstra, Auckland Council, Origin Energy, Reliance Petroleum (BP), and Rio Tinto, where responsibilities ranged from health and safety management to environmental operations and strategy development. Mark’s academic credentials include an MSc and BSc in Geology and an Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership from The University of Auckland.
