Tom Gallagher possesses extensive experience in climate policy and government affairs. Currently serving as the Head of Climate Policy and Head of Carbon Markets at Qantas since January 2022, Tom previously held the position of Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy at Boeing from October 2018 to January 2022. Prior to that, Tom managed government, industry, international, and environmental affairs at Qantas from 2014 to 2018 and worked as Senior Manager of Government, Industry, International, and Sustainability at Jetstar Airways between January 2016 and June 2017. Tom's career also includes a role as Ministerial Advisor for Policy and Parliament at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in New South Wales from 2012 to 2015, specifically assisting the Minister for Finance and Industrial Relations. Tom Gallagher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Economics, and Social Science from the University of Sydney.
