Nick Balakirev

Nick Balakirev has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2012. Nick began their career as a Senior Backend Developer for Rambler&Co in 2014. Nick then moved on to become a Senior Backend Developer for Автодрайв in 2012. In 2016, they joined Avito as a Backend Developer and Avito.PRO Head of Engineering. In 2019, they were promoted to Team Lead at Avito. In 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Работа.ру. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Vice President of Engineering at Qase.

Nick Balakirev attended the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University) from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Higher Education degree in SAPR. Nick has also obtained two certifications: a Scrum Master certification from ScrumTrek in May 2018, and a Zend Certified Engineer certification from Zend in February 2016.
