Jeff Chang

Jeff joined Qatalyst in June 2011 and is co-head of its Enterprise Software Group. Prior to joining Qatalyst, Jeff was at Goldman Sachs, in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group, focusing on both strategic and corporate finance advisory.

Jeff's strategic advisory experience includes Acme Packet's $2.1B sale to Oracle, Adobe's $1.8B acquisition of Omniture, Advent Software's $2.7B sale to SS&C Technologies, Applied Predictive Technologies’ $600MM sale to MasterCard, Apptio’s $1.9B sale to Vista Equity Partners, Callidus’ $2.5B sale to SAP, Concur's $8.3B sale to SAP, Conga's merger with Apttus, Datalogix's sale to Oracle, Datorama’s sale to Salesforce.com, Hellman & Friedman’s $11B acquisition of Ultimate Software, Lithium Technologies sale to Vista Equity Partners, Looker’s $2.6B sale to Google, Magma Automation's $550MM sale to Synopsys, MINDBODY’s $1.9B sale to Vista Equity Partners, Moat’s sale to Oracle, NetSuite’s $9.4B sale to Oracle, Pentaho's sale to Hitachi Data Systems, Ping Identity’s sale to Vista Equity Partners, Qualtric’s $8B sale to SAP, RelateIQ's $400MM sale to Salesforce.com, Semantic Machines' sale to Microsoft, SignalFX's $1.05B sale to Splunk, Taleo's $2.1B sale to Oracle and Vista Equity Partners’ investment in iCims. Jeff is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and his M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors of Summer Search in the Bay Area.
