Duncan Karran

Duncan Karran is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Vice President Treasury at Qatar Airways since July 2023. Previously, Duncan held several key positions at Jaguar Land Rover from May 2010 to July 2023, including Assistant Treasurer for Investor Relations, where responsibilities encompassed financing activities and investor relations with a focus on ESG. Additional roles at Jaguar Land Rover included Head of Finance for Purchasing & Supply Chain and Logistics & International Manufacturing, overseeing strategic finance projects and contract negotiations. Earlier experience includes Group Treasury Manager at Thomas Cook, where Duncan managed FX hedging and cash forecasting, and a Manager position at Deloitte specializing in Treasury & Risk Management. Foundation experience as a Senior European Treasury Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific involved cash management across Europe. Duncan is ACCA qualified and holds an AMCT degree from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
