Ishrat Ullah is an experienced humanitarian professional currently serving as the Head of the Humanitarian Department and Relief and Emergency Coordinator at Qatar Charity since May 2012, where responsibilities include coordinating global relief and emergency programs. Prior to this role, Ishrat was the Country Representative for Pakistan at Qatar Red Crescent from July 2010 to May 2012, overseeing the Pakistani Delegation. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Manager for North Pakistan at Qatar Charity, managing programs in Kashmir, Khyber Pukhtoonkwa, and Tribal Areas, as well as projects management in livelihoods and humanitarian affairs. Ishrat's career commenced at the International Islamic University Islamabad as Program Coordinator in the School of Economics. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Conflict Management and Humanitarian Assistance from Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, a Professional Certificate in Micro-Finance Projects from Colorado State University, and Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics from International Islamic University Islamabad.
