Prasanna Kumar

Prasanna Kumar is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as Senior Operations Manager for Energy & Marine at Qatar Insurance Group since February 2022. With extensive experience in underwriting and management roles, Prasanna has previously held positions including Underwriting Manager at RSA and HDI Global SE, and Energy & Property Underwriter at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company. Prasanna's career in underwriting began at Qatar Insurance Company and Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited. Prasanna holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, an International Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance from the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management, and the ACII designation from The Chartered Insurance Institute.
