Kamal Halawani

Kamal Halawani has extensive work experience in the banking industry, with their most recent role being Head of Islamic Liabilities at Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) since December 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, starting in 2002. During their time there, they held various positions, including Product Manager in the Islamic Banking Department from August 2002 to December 2011. Kamal also served as Assistant Product Manager in the same department from May 2006 to December 2009. Additionally, they held roles such as Excellency Team Leader in the Wealth Management Department from March 2005 to May 2006, Excellency Phone Banker in the same department from March 2003 to March 2005, and Phone Banker in the Cards Center from February 2002 to March 2003.

Kamal Halawani pursued their education at the Lebanese American University from 1995 to 2000. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Later, they attended the University of Liverpool from 2013 to 2015, where they completed a Masters Degree in International Management.
