Refaat Alsaad

Refaat AlSaad has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Refaat began their career as a trainee officer at Arab Bank, where they gained fundamental banking experience in customer accounts administration, trade finance, and credit analysis. After four years, they joined Ahli Bank QSC as an Account Officer and was gradually promoted to Credit Manager, overseeing a portfolio of corporate clients. In 2006, Refaat AlSaad joined Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) as the Head of Credit Sanctioning/ Credit Analysis in the wholesale banking unit. Refaat was responsible for managing a diverse range of teams and projects, including institutional and corporate banking, financial institutions, real estate financing, and project financing. Throughout their career, Refaat AlSaad has demonstrated expertise in credit analysis, lending, and risk management.

Refaat AlSaad has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from National University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Business from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
