Fahad AlObaidly has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. FAHAD started their career at HSBC Private Bank as a Premier VIP Banker, where they focused on customer service, sales, and portfolio management from 2008 to 2012. FAHAD then moved to Virginia Commonwealth University, where they worked as a Curator Gulf Heritage & Community Liaison, supporting research, documentation, and preservation of local history in Qatar and the Gulf region. In 2014, Fahad joined Qatar Museums, initially as the Head of Membership, Culture Pass, where they successfully established and grew the membership program. FAHAD later took on the role of Deputy Director of Programs and Partnership at Qatar Museums, leading the development and execution of diverse and engaging programs and establishing strategic partnerships within the cultural sector.
Fahad Alobaidly completed a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design (BA) from Istituto Marangoni, from the year 2002 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including the Creation Generation Program from the Center for Creative Leadership in May 2015. FAHAD completed multiple certifications from University College London, including Archival Management, Museum Objects to Monuments I: Caring for the Heritage by Controlling the Environment, Museum Objects to Monuments II: The Decay and Conservation from of Stone, Museums, Searching for, Finding, and Using Other People's Words, Work and Ideas, and Intangible Heritage and Traditional Music, all in November 2014. Fahad also participated in the Cultural Heritage and Education Workshop by UNESCO in February 2014. FAHAD completed various courses on social and behavioral responsible conduct of research as well as basic courses from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) in 2013. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Preserving Intangible Heritage from UNESCO & ALESCO in January 2013. Fahad also completed a variety of certifications in areas such as financial planning, selling skills, information security, and private banking and wealth management training, among others.
