Taoufik Homri has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Taoufik began their career as an Ingenieur at TUNISAIR from 1990 to 1997. Taoufik then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Qatar University from 2001 to 2003. From 1997 to 2009, they served as an eLearning Project Manager at IAD Qatar. Taoufik then joined the Council of Ministers Qatar as a Consultant and Senior Analyst Programmer from 2009 to 2012. At ictQATAR, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst and Information Communication Technology Ph.D from May 2012 to December 2012. Taoufik then joined Qatar Museums Authority as the Head of New Media User Interface and Web Services in 2013. In 2017, they became the Vice President of KataraTech. Currently, they work at The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara as a Senior ICT Consultant and Business Intelligence Specialist, providing strategic guidance and utilizing their broad range of IT skills and experience in the government and semi-government sector.
Taoufik Homri completed their PhD in Information & Communication Technology from Universite de Dijon from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering from Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, which took place from 1980 to 1986.
