Bassem Abadir

Bassem Abadir is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the Head of Analytics in the Commercial Business Planning Division at QNB Group since July 2016. In this role, Bassem oversees the planning and direction of commercial business activities, focusing on strategic objectives and the implementation of business strategies that drive profitability and operational effectiveness. Prior to QNB Group, Bassem held various leadership positions at Societe Generale from February 2007 to July 2016, including Head of Planning, Performance & Budgeting, where responsibilities involved setting yearly budgets and providing performance insights. Other notable roles include Head of Retail Business Development and Branch Manager, where Bassem implemented growth strategies and managed branch operations. Bassem began his career at Misr International Bank as a Branch Manager and holds a B.Sc. in Commerce from Ain Shams University.
