Anwarul Hasan

Anwarul Hasan is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in mechanical and industrial engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Qatar University since February 2020, Anwarul also holds the position of Editor for the Journal of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, a role initiated in February 2014. Additionally, Anwarul is the President and CEO of H & H International, a global clothing manufacturer and retailer established since November 2010. Anwarul’s previous academic positions include Assistant Professor at American University of Beirut and postdoctoral fellowships at MIT and Harvard Medical School, specializing in biomaterials, tissue engineering, and stem cell research. Anwarul’s educational background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and postdoctoral studies in bioengineering at Harvard and MIT. Other notable contributions include a research scientist role at Champion Technologies and vice presidency of the Graduate Student Association at the University of Alberta.
