Asia Alfasi

Asia Alfasi is a skilled comic artist and graphic novelist with extensive experience in illustration and animation. Currently serving as a comic artist at Qatar University since October 2020, Asia illustrates textbooks focused on teaching Arabic to Japanese speakers. As the owner of Asia Alfasi Art since April 2009, Asia manages high-quality illustration projects and collaborates with universities, publishers, and companies to address social issues through distinctive artwork. Previous roles include illustrator at PositiveNegatives and graphic novelist at Bloomsbury, where Asia created a debut graphic novel. Additional work encompasses illustrations for theatre productions and public art projects, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Visual Communication and Animation from Birmingham City University.
