Muftah El-Naas

Muftah El-Naas is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Director of the Gas Processing Center and the QAFCO Chair Professor in Chemical Process Engineering at Qatar University since August 2015. Prior to this role, Muftah held various positions at United Arab Emirates University from September 2007 to August 2015, including Professor and Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, as well as Director of the Petroleum Science and Engineering Graduate Program and Research Funding. Muftah's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
