Thanzeer Hamarudeen

Thanzeer Hamarudeen is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in information security and network management. Since May 2008, Thanzeer has served as the Section Head of Information Assurance at Qatar University, leading a team responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures, managing security solutions, and ensuring proactive threat mitigation. Previous roles include IT Infrastructure Manager at Islamonline.net, Senior Security Consultant at Network Solutions, and Security Consulting Engineer at Intel Technology Pvt. Ltd. Thanzeer’s extensive expertise is supported by a solid educational foundation, including a degree from Karnatak University and several professional certifications, such as CISSP, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001 LA.
