Colin Smyth

Colin Smyth has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Year 3 Teacher and Head of House at QatarEnergy since August 2022. Prior to this role, Colin was a Year 4 Teacher and Head of House at Sherborne Qatar from September 2020 to August 2022, and a Year 1 Teacher at the same institution from July 2017 to July 2020. Colin began a career in teaching as a Student Teacher at Maynooth University from September 2015 to June 2017. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Rebar Placer at Heritage Steel Sales Ltd from April 2013 to June 2015. Colin holds a Professional Masters Degree in Education from Maynooth University and a Bachelor of Arts and Theology in Irish Studies from St Patrick's Pontifical University.
