Michael Maldonado

Michael Maldonado is an experienced professional with a robust background in data science and machine learning engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of ML Engineering at QBE North America since February 2019, Michael has also held roles as AVP of Data Science, Lead Data Scientist, and Analytics Lead for Pricing within the same organization. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Data Scientist at WEA Trust from April 2015 to January 2019 and gained experience as an Actuarial Analyst at the Wisconsin Medical Society from June 2013 to March 2015. Additionally, Michael managed and bartended at The Ivory Room Piano Bar from June 2012 to 2019. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a focus on applied Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 2008 and 2013.
