Cory Piskin

Cory Piskin currently serves as AVP of Financial and Professional Lines Treaty Underwriting at QBE Re since July 2023. Prior to this role, Piskin was an Underwriting Manager at Scale Underwriting from August 2022 to July 2023 and held the position of Senior Underwriter Management Liability at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions from November 2017 to August 2022, focusing on various liability coverages including Directors and Officers and Employment Practices. Earlier experience includes working as a Consultant at New Day Underwriting Managers LLC and as an Associate Underwriter at Crum & Forster, where responsibilities included analysis and evaluation of business, risk assessment, and supporting underwriting production targets. Piskin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Hartford in 2014, following completion of studies at Marlboro High School in 2010.
