Jamie Cook

Jamie Cook has extensive work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. They are currently serving as the Chief Partnership Officer at QBE Re since March 2023. Prior to this role, Jamie held the position of Global Head of Client Management at QBE Re from June 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining QBE Re, Jamie worked at Guy Carpenter as the Managing Director, Global Account Segment and Regional Sales Leader - EMEA from June 2018 to May 2021. They also served as the Director, Divisional Broker Representative - EMEA at Swiss Re from July 2015 to June 2018.

Jamie has experience at Munich Re (Group) as a Client Manager from August 2014 to July 2015. They also had a long-standing tenure at Guy Carpenter from July 2004 to September 2012. During this time, Jamie held the roles of Managing Director, Head of Property Treaty - Asia Pacific and Managing Director, Head of Broking - Australia/New Zealand.

Starting their career at Willis Re in July 1993, Jamie held various positions, including Executive Director, Associate Director, Broking, and Reinsurance Broker, until July 2004.

Overall, Jamie Cook has demonstrated expertise in leadership roles and client management within the insurance and reinsurance industry, successfully serving multiple companies over the years.

Jamie Cook completed a BA (Hons) degree in Banking, Insurance, and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University. Additionally, Jamie also obtained an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) qualification from The Chartered Insurance Institute.
