Lior Yedidya

VP R&D at QD-SOL LTD.

Lior Yedidya has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as an Etch Machines Technician at Intel until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Teacher at Hadassah College. In 2010, they joined QLight Nanotech as an R&D Chemist, where they conducted synthesis and characterization of semiconductor nanocrystals. In 2012, they became a Senior R&D Chemist at QLight Nanotech, overseeing the QD Scale-up process and leading the product development team. QLight Nanotech was later acquired by Merck KGaA in 2015.

In 2015, Yedidya joined Nano Dimension as a Chief Chemist, responsible for leading the company's R&D materials department. Lior developed nanoparticles and polymer-based inks, resulting in several patented inventions. In 2019, they joined Copprint as a Principal Scientist, and then moved to MeaTech in 2020. At MeaTech, they served as the Suspension Growth Team Leader and later became the Chief Chemist. Finally, in 2022, Yedidya joined QD-SOL LTD. as the VP R&D. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in R&D, synthesis, characterization, and leadership roles in the fields of nanotechnology and materials science.

Lior Yedidya completed their high school education at Boyer High School from 1998 to 2000. They then went on to attend The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from 2005 to 2008. Following that, Lior pursued further studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and earned a Master of Science degree in Chemistry between 2008 and 2010.
