Nathan Barkley

Nathan Barkley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nathan started their career as a Pharmacist Technician at Buchanan Drugs, where they were responsible for checking out customers, filling prescriptions, and managing inventory. Nathan then worked as a Professor's Assistant in the Department of Mathematics at West Georgia Technical College, providing support to professors and assisting students with their questions and problems.

After that, Nathan worked as a Maintenance Technician at Campus Edge Apartments, where they handled various maintenance tasks and repaired HVAC systems. Nathan also gained experience as an Action Sports Sales Specialist at REI, where they interacted with customers, trained employees, and led guided outings to enhance customers' knowledge of outdoor activities.

Nathan then joined Shaw Industries as a Technical Development Co-op/Intern. In this role, they conducted research on innovative technologies, developed solutions for process improvements, created 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings, managed project bidding processes, and monitored equipment installations at multiple plant locations. Nathan also served as a Tufting and Warping Co-op, collaborating with machine operators and engineers on projects to maximize production efficiency and decrease defects.

Most recently, Nathan worked as a Luxury Valet at BOON MANAGEMENT, LLC, providing valet services. Nathan is currently employed as a Solar Engineer at QE Solar, where they utilize their engineering skills to contribute to solar projects.

Nathan Barkley completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kennesaw State University - Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, which they attended from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2015 to 2018, but did not obtain a degree. Nathan pursued a Pre-engineering / Physics program at the University of West Georgia from 2012 to 2014. Before that, they briefly enrolled at West Georgia Technical College in 2011 and completed their high school education at Haralson County High School from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Nathan Barkley obtained a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification from OSHA-Training.com in March 2019.
