Russell Kiernan

Russell Kiernan began their career in 1993 as a Technical Specialist at Merrill Lynch, where they evaluated and integrated numerous software and hardware technologies for the development of the Retail Branch system. In 1995, they worked as a Consultant on assignment at Marsh and McLennan. From 1996 to 2008, Kiernan worked at Citigroup, where they held roles as Senior Vice President, Area Manager, First Vice President, Area Manager, and Vice President, Project Manager. In this role, they established and managed the Information Security, Project/Program Management, IT Controls, Continuity of Business, Budget Management, and Business Administration functions for a global infrastructure services organization.

Kiernan then joined QED National in 2008, where they held the roles of Director of Management Consulting Services, Head of Business Development, and Consultant - Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for QED National's Management Consulting Services and Business Development, which contributed to significant corporate growth. Additionally, they led an effort to assess Quality Management processes and procedures for a major Financial Services firm.

Since 2011, Kiernan has been Co-Chair of the Project Management Workgroup at The NYS Forum, Inc.

Russell Kiernan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Stony Brook University between 1990 and 1993. Russell also holds certifications in CRISC from ISACA and IT Service Management Foundation (ITIL) from EXIN.
