Seungjoo Kim has a diverse work experience, with a focus on finance. Starting in 2007, Kim worked as an Account Manager at Wan Hai Lines before moving on to become a Financial Accountant at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in 2011. At Samsung, Kim handled various accounting issues and played a role in managing investments and cash flows. In 2013, Kim became a Management Accountant at Kia Motors Sales Slovensko, where they focused on financial reporting and analysis. In 2014, Kim joined KIA MOTORS CZECH s.r.o. as a Business Analysis Manager, responsible for developing financial analysis systems and improving work efficiency. Kim then moved on to become the Head of Finance at Hanwha Solutions Corporation in 2017 and is currently holding the same position at Q ENERGY Solutions SE since 2021.
Seungjoo Kim completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath in 2011. Prior to this, from 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Foundation diploma for postgraduate studies in International Business from SOAS University of London.
