Aalia H. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2010, Aalia worked as a Legal Intern at the Australian Federation Against Copyright Theft. Aalia then moved on to the World Health Organization in 2011, where they served as a Human Rights and Health Law Intern. Aalia'sresponsibilities included working on human rights issues related to health.

In 2014, Aalia worked as a Legal Clerk at Gordon Wells & Co Solicitors before transitioning to Achmea as an Assistant Underwriter in 2015. Aalia then joined Perpetual Limited as a Consultant, where they provided their expertise in the field.

From 2017 to 2018, Aalia worked at Findex as a Disputes & Quality Assurance Officer, where they reviewed and responded to disputes across various financial services.

Aalia's experience in the banking and finance industry began in 2018 when they joined the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. As an Analyst, they resolved complaints about financial products and services, conducted negotiations, and facilitated early settlements.

In 2021, Aalia became the Head of Legal and Compliance at Compare Club, where they ensured compliance with Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) obligations in the personal finance and life insurance comparison space.

Following their position at Compare Club, Aalia joined Westpac Group in 2021 as a Risk Manager - Customer Experience & Partnerships, Digital. Aalia'sresponsibilities included liaising with stakeholders, providing SME advice, and collaborating with other parts of the business to respond to Australian regulators. Aalia then transitioned to the role of Manager - Regulatory Control, Digital, where they continued to provide advice and recommendations for projects and policy uplift.

Most recently, Aalia joined Qenta Inc. in 2022 as the Legal and Compliance Director.

Aalia H. completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French Language and Literature from Macquarie University, from 2007 to 2013. Aalia also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to university, Aalia completed their HSC Certificate from Pymble Ladies College Sydney in 2007. Additionally, they attended the American Community School Beirut until 2004 and the International School Ho Chi Minh City until 2002, although no specific degrees or fields of study are provided for these schools.
