Micah Shirley

Micah Shirley is a skilled Composites Manufacturing Engineer at Qfix since September 2018, where responsibilities include serving as Scrum Master and team lead, focusing on continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies. Prior experience includes serving as a Lead Engineer/Technologist at GE Aviation from November 2013 to August 2018, developing data-driven manufacturing solutions for Ceramic Matrix Composite components, and converting prototype processes for manufacturing efficiency. Micah also worked at ATK as a Manufacturing Engineer and Tool Designer, contributing to the implementation of production NDI techniques and designing tooling for composite processing. Earlier roles include a barista position at Beans & Brews and an operator/surveyor role at Forever Peaks Construction. Micah holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
