About Your Role 

Within our Customer Experience (CX) organization, we are looking for customer focused individuals that want to help carry out the CX mission of enabling our customers to maximize the value of QGenda!  Individuals that have a thirst for knowledge, a natural curiosity to learn and a desire to help customers solve their business objectives with technology. 

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for parsing various formats of customer data (SQL, Excel, CSV, etc) and converting it to QGenda accepted formats for import into the QGenda solution.  You’ll interact with customer teams to plan out strategies for data migration and perform needed updates to in house tools in order to conduct the data conversion.  The ideal candidate has a passion for problem-solving and thrives on making the process more efficient through automation and tool/process improvements.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Work with customers to receive data from their legacy systems and map that data to QGenda
  • Responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing data sets to be consumed for the QGenda application
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
  • Maintain data tools using Python, and SQL or other programming languages
  • Update data tools to tackle data formats that are not yet handled by the tool
  • Document customer criteria & data model mappings
  • Consult customers on best practices related to the migration of their data

Who You Are 

  • Experience with Python, SQL or other programming languages.
  • Proficiency with version control tools such as Github or Bitbucket
  • Experience with serialization techniques like JSON, binary etc
  • Experience leveraging data driven tools such as AWS, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, R, etc
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong data analysis and data quality skills, such as SQL, reporting and data visualization, validation, and cleansing
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and provide recommendations to improve design of data collection tools and data governance processes

Experience You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Statistics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • 2+ years Python experience
  • 2+ years SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft Access
  • Javascript experience preferred
  • 2+ years relevant experience in roles related to data analytics and/or statistics, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, applied programming, data management, or data transformation
