Jocelyn Smith has work experience in various roles and companies. Jocelyn currently works at QHR Technologies as a Lead Senior Researcher, where they focus on building user research practice and collaborating with other stakeholders. Previously, they worked as a Senior User Researcher at the same company, responsible for establishing user research practices and working closely with product management and design teams. Prior to QHR Technologies, they operated their own consulting firm, Jocelyn Smith Consulting, providing user research and interaction design services across different platforms. Jocelyn also worked as a Research Lead at UXperts Design Inc., identifying opportunities for companies to enhance customer value and validating designs through usability testing. Additionally, Jocelyn has experience as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia, founder of Careageous Connections, and has taken maternity leave while working for the Goodsmith family. Jocelyn has also served as a User Experience Designer at Pearson School Systems, where they created user-friendly designs for educational testing software and collaborated with product managers and developers.
Jocelyn Smith obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia between 2003 and 2005.
