Donna Sowers

Donna Goldsmith Sowers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and management within the biotechnology and medical technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of QA for North America at QIAGEN since August 2007, Donna also held the position of QA Director. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Product Quality at Digene Corporation from 2003 to 2007, and QA Manager at Genetic Therapy Inc. from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, Donna worked as Operations Director and Manufacturing Manager at Calypte Biomedical and Biotech Research Labs, respectively, from 1986 to 2002. Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia, earned between 1981 and 1985.
