Ian Martin is a highly motivated commercial leader with over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning in the healthcare sector, particularly in Europe and Asia. Currently serving as the Retired President and Head of Commercial Operations ASIA at QIAGEN since July 2019, Ian previously held significant roles at Abbott Laboratories, including Regional Director for South Asia with full P&L responsibility across multiple countries and General Manager in Poland, where substantial sales growth was achieved. Ian's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology from the University of Surrey and a professional qualification from Paddington College.
