Anthony Hatherley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anthony started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland in April 2009, where they remained until September 2010. In 2010, they joined QIC as a Quant Analyst for a brief period before moving to Citi as an Equity Derivatives Quant Strategist from September 2010 to December 2012. Anthony then held the position of Vice President - Quant Analyst at Citi from January 2013 to September 2016. Anthony returned to QIC in October 2016, initially as a Portfolio Manager and later as a Senior Portfolio Manager from July 2021.
Anthony Hatherley completed their education in a chronological order. Anthony first attended The University of Queensland from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained both a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Following this, they pursued an additional degree at The University of Queensland from 2005 to 2005 and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Finance. Finally, they completed their highest level of education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Finance from The University of Queensland from 2006 to 2009.
