Miguel Villalobos

Miguel Villalobos has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Miguel currently works as an Investment Associate at QIC since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Macquarie Group from October 2021 to July 2022. Miguel also worked at NatWest, where they held the roles of Associate in Infrastructure & Project Finance from January 2021 to October 2021, and Analyst in Structured Finance from August 2018 to December 2020.

Before entering the finance industry, Miguel gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at NatWest in 2017. Miguel rotated through the TMT Corporate Advisory and Infrastructure & Project Finance teams, performing tasks such as financial analysis, due diligence, and preparing client pitch books.

In addition to their finance roles, Miguel served as the Treasurer of the University of Nottingham Calisthenics Society, where they managed the society's budget and financing needs. Miguel also held a Spring Internship at UBS in 2016, participating in the UBS Insights Program and gaining exposure to various divisions of the Investment Bank.

Outside of their professional endeavors, Miguel demonstrated strong leadership skills as the President of the Graduation Committee at Greengates School. Miguel successfully organized the school's graduation ceremony and raised a record-breaking amount of funds for the event.

Miguel Villalobos completed their education at the University of Nottingham from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Prior to that, they attended Greengates School in Mexico City from 2011 to 2015, where they completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) programs. In 2015, they obtained the International Baccalaureate from The International Baccalaureate institution, and in 2013, they obtained the IGCSE certification from Cambridge International Examinations.
