Victoria Brauer

Victoria Brauer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2023, they are currently working as a Privacy Compliance Manager at QIC. Prior to this, they were a Privacy Compliance Lead and then a Privacy Compliance Manager at ASB Bank from 2021 to 2023. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Commercial and Financial Senior Policy Analyst for the Three Waters Reform Programme at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ). In 2020, they were the Privacy and External Reporting Manager at Fonterra. Victoria also worked at BBC as a Senior Policy Advisor from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they were a Policy Analyst at The Home Builders Federation from 2017 to 2018 and an External Funding and Policy and Public Affairs Officer (contract) at London Borough of Waltham Forest in 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Advisor for New Zealand Major Events at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment from 2015 to 2016 and as a Policy Adviser for Heritage at the Ministry for Culture and Heritage from 2013 to 2015. Victoria began their career at The University of Auckland, where they worked as an Admissions Officer and later as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (History) from 2011 to 2013.

Victoria Brauer earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History from The University of Auckland, which they attended from 2011 to 2012.
