Xinwei Lu

Xinwei Lu has diverse work experience in the legal field. Xinwei currently holds the position of M&A Legal Director at Qihoo 360 since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Co-founder and Consultant at YouRongTang from October 2018 to August 2021. Xinwei also served as the Overseas Investment Director and General Counsel at LongTu Game from April 2015 to April 2017. Xinwei gained extensive experience as a Partner at Sunland Law Firm from 2012 to 2014, where they led venture capital and M&A legal projects. Xinwei started their career as an Associate at DLA Piper from June 2011 to May 2012 and as a China Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from April 2005 to May 2011. In these roles, they played key roles in various M&A and venture capital projects.

Xinwei Lu's education history includes obtaining an LL.B in International Economic Law from China University of Political Science and Law in 2003. In 2004, they pursued an LL.M in Banking and Finance Law from UCL. Subsequently, in 2010, Xinwei Lu completed an LL.M in Corporations from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. They then pursued an EMBA in General Management and Venture Capital from the University of Michigan Ross Business School, which was completed in 2018. Additionally, Xinwei Lu obtained the New York Bar certification in September 2011 and the Chinese Bar certification in February 2007.
