QIMR Berghofer
Alice Zhang is a research assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since April 2017, with notable authorship in a publication focused on oxidative stress and inflammation related to acute oxalate nephropathy. Previous roles include serving as an academic tutor for UMAT and peer-assisted study sessions at The University of Queensland, and experience as a front desk receptionist at Tottenham Court Accommodation. Alice participated in a medical internship in rural Thailand with GapMedics and has hospitality experience as a waitress. Alice holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Queensland, alongside a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Extended Biomedical Science and an education abroad program in Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
