Bryan W Day

Bryan W Day is a prominent researcher in brain cancer, serving as the Group Leader of the Sid Faithfull Brain Cancer Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since March 2015. With a focus on aggressive brain cancers such as Glioblastoma and Medulloblastoma, Bryan's research aims to understand molecular mechanisms of tumor initiation and recurrence, while developing effective therapies. In addition to leading the laboratory, Bryan holds several significant leadership roles, including Co-Director of the Children's Brain Cancer Centre and Co-Director of the Australian Brain Cancer Research Alliance. Bryan also contributes as Chair of the Consortium for Neuro-Oncology Excellence and Deputy Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Cooperative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology.
