Fazeleh Etebar

Fazeleh Etebar is a research officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since June 2023, with a strong background in neuroimmunology and parasitology. Fazeleh completed a Ph.D. in Neuroimmunology at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) between November 2019 and November 2023, focusing on the characterization of novel immune cell subsets in the central nervous system. Prior experience includes serving as a research assistant at the University of Tehran, where Fazeleh worked on the production of a recombinant antigen related to Toxocara canis larvae and its effects on mice. Educational qualifications also include a Ph.D. in Parasitology from the University of Tehran and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the same institution.
