Head Of The Epigenetics And Disease Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer

Jason Lee has a diverse work experience in various research and academic roles. Jason is currently a REDI Fellow at IP Group plc since 2022. Previously, they worked as an Adjunct A/Prof at Griffith University starting from May 2022. Prior to that, they held the positions of Head of the Epigenetics and Disease Laboratory and QIMR International Research Fellow at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute from 2013 to present. Jason has also worked as an Associate Professor at both The University of Queensland and QUT (Queensland University of Technology) since 2013 and 2016 respectively. In addition, they have experience as a Research Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at Seoul National University from 2006 to 2012. Jason started their career at Harvard Medical School as a Research Associate from 2003 to 2006 and completed an Honours in Pathology at Children's Cancer Research Institute in 1998.

Jason Lee completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from UNSW during the period of 1995 to 1998. Jason further pursued higher education at the University of Sydney, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Medicine from 1999 to 2004.
